- Wood screws with partial thread are particularly suitable for connections in solid wood and similar materials.
- Partially threaded screws have no threads at the top near the head.

- Therefore, the two materials to be connected cannot be safely connected with very high pressure without pre-drilling or screwing.
- Partially threaded screws do not need to be pre-drilled.
- If you use partially threaded screws to secure floors, for example, there will be no creaking noises.
- Fully threaded screws have the advantage that the tensile force acting on the screw is distributed over the entire thread of the upper screw and is not absorbed only by the head.
- When screwing in fully threaded screws, the materials to be connected must be pressed firmly together, e.g. B. with screw terminals and adhesive.
