  • Partial thread wood screws are particularly suitable for solid connections of wood and similar materials.
  • Partially threaded screws have no thread at the top near the head.
  • Fully threaded screws have a thread all the way to the screw head.

  • Advantages of partially threaded screw:
  • With fully threaded screws, the thread is in both materials to be connected.
  • Therefore, the two materials to be connected cannot be firmly connected without pre-drilling or screwing with very strong pressure.
  • Partially threaded screws do not need to be pre-drilled.
  • If you use screws with partial thread, for example, to fasten floors, you will not hear any creaks.

  • Advantages of fully threaded screws:
  • Fully threaded screws have the advantage that the tensile force acting on the screw is distributed over the entire thread of the upper screw and is not absorbed only by the head.
  • When screwing in fully threaded screws, the materials to be connected must be pressed firmly together, for example with screw clamps and gluing.
  • Another method is to screw the screw in until it engages the bottom material.
  • Then loosen the screw slightly.
  • After that, the top material should no longer rise
  • Self-drilling tip.
  • Pack of 100 pieces
