- Shipping costs start at €11 and vary according to weight and destination. For cash on delivery purchases there is an additional cost of €7.50.

KOFASIL® S 1.2 is a high-performance silage additive designed to boost aerobic stability in energy-rich silages and reduce the risk of ketosis and acidosis in high-yielding dairy cows. When exposed to air, even well-fermented silage can deteriorate as yeasts and molds break down valuable nutrients, leading to reheating and the formation of harmful mycotoxins. KOFASIL® S 1.2 contains a potent combination of Lactobacillus buchneri and Enterococcus faecium (E-Booster), which work together to produce acetic acid and 1,2-propanediol. Acetic acid suppresses the growth of spoilage organisms, while 1,2-propanediol provides fast-absorbed, glucoplastic energy that helps maintain rumen health and supports high milk performance.
Easy to prepare by mixing with tap water, KOFASIL® S 1.2 can be applied directly on the forage harvester. Effective in micro-doses: 1g/ton for maize, cereals, or grass, and 2g/ton for CCM. Ideal for whole-crop maize silage, CCM, and energy-rich grass. Available in 50g and 100g packs, with long shelf life options (up to 24 months in freezer storage).
