- The O4 classification is the second most rigorous category for work footwear. The boots have anti-slip, anti-static properties and absorb the energy of the heel region. They are tested and certified according to EN ISO 20347: 2012
- SRC rated boots meet the most stringent requirements for slip resistance and are both SRA and SRB compliant. SRA slip resistance is tested on ceramic tile floors covered with a diluted soap solution, while SRB slip resistance is tested on steel floors covered with glycerin.
- The tests are based on measuring the friction coefficients in the forward heel slip state and the forward flat slip state. The results provide a good indication of the actual slip resistance of the boots in practice on slippery tile and steel surfaces
