Chevita Phosphor Rumen-Bovisal 600 g is a dietetic complementary feed formulated for cattle, sheep, and goats to rapidly restore and stabilize normal rumen function. It is recommended for the compensation of acute and subacute ruminal acidosis (SARA) and for rebalancing rumen microflora following disease, surgical procedures, or antibiotic treatments.
Ruminal acidosis commonly presents with reduced appetite, decreased production, weight loss, and loose or diarrheic feces. Prompt intervention is essential to limit productivity and economic losses. Rumen Bovisal® acts quickly by correcting acidosis, restoring rumen microbial balance, and stimulating appetite, supporting the return to normal rumination.
The thixotropic gel formulation combined with an anatomically shaped bottle ensures easy, safe, and effective administration. In most cases, one or two treatments are sufficient to achieve recovery of rumen function.
Directions for use:
- Thixotropic gel – shake well before use. Administer at temperatures below 25°C.
- Cattle: 1 bottle, repeat after 12 hours.
- Sheep and goats: 1/2 bottle, repeat after 12 hours.
- If necessary, repeat every 12 hours until rumen function is fully restored.
