Breathable
- The breathability of waterproof/water repellent clothing is very important especially if you sweat while working in cold environments. If you don't get rid of the sweat immediately, damp clothes will cool down and you risk freezing.
Windproof
- A windproof garment retains heat. Choose a garment with this symbol if you don't want the wind to bother you at all.
Water repellent
- When this symbol is placed on the garment, it means that the fabric is waterproof. But the seams cannot be heat-taped due to the particular nature of the fabric itself. For this reason the product in its entirety cannot be labeled as 100% waterproof, but only as water-repellent.
