Feeding Instructions: It is recommended to feed Ferto-LAC 3 from the 6th month of pregnancy until the foal is weaned. The daily amount depends on the mare’s weight and specific needs. Always provide access to high-quality forage and fresh water.

During the last three months of pregnancy, the unborn foal undergoes its most significant development. Therefore, it is particularly important during this period to adequately support the mare with the right nutrients.

HAVENS Ferto-LAC 3 has been specially developed for this period until weaning. This special pellet can also be fed earlier in pregnancy to support fetal development.

Ferto-LAC 3 is enriched with the unique Multi-Calcium-Complex, a high dose of Copper (Cu), rich vitamins, and an increased level of energy and protein. Not only to support the foal’s growth and development but also to contribute to the mare’s optimal health during and after foaling.

Please note that after foaling, the mare’s energy and protein requirements increase significantly. Extra concentrate feed is important during this period to ensure the mare maintains good condition. Thanks to its increased protein content, Ferto-LAC 3 is also very suitable for stallions.
