- Shipping costs start at €11 and vary according to weight and destination. For cash on delivery purchases there is an additional cost of €7.50.
- The minimum order is 50€. In the case of orders for a lower amount, a surcharge of €5 + VAT will be added to cover the costs of processing the order.

Foals have a particularly high need for energy and protein. During the growth phase, their requirements for nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, zinc, and copper also increase.
Höveler Original Foal Muesli is specially formulated to meet the increased needs of foals during the growth phase. The energy in Original Foal Muesli comes from hydrothermally processed grains and is therefore easily digestible, helping to prevent digestive sensitivities.
Soybean meal and steam-heated soybeans are rich in essential amino acids such as lysine and methionine, which are necessary for organ and muscle development, among other things. The particularly tasty Original Foal Muesli is fully mineralized and vitaminized, offers high nutrient availability, and can therefore be used as the sole feed. Early supplemental feeding prevents feeding difficulties that often occur during weaning.
Feed type: Supplementary feed
Feeding recommendation:
As a supplement to the usual basic supply of mare's milk, roughage, and/or pasture grass, we recommend Original Foal Muesli for foals with a final weight of around 600 kg from the 2nd week of life up to the 2nd month, which can be eaten freely (no access for the mare).
Daily feeding per animal:
- From 3rd month: min. 1kg – max. 1.5kg
- From 5th month: min. 1.5kg – max. 2kg
- From 6th month: min. 2kg – max. 2.5kg
Feeding depends on the mare’s milk yield and the foal’s stage of development. Original Foal Muesli is fed up to the foal’s first year. After that, Höveler EF Horse Muesli, Höveler Wholegrain D-Mix, Höveler Western Sport, or Höveler Reformat with Oats are recommended.
Breed-specific amounts:
- Small horse/pony: approx. 50% less
- Thoroughbred/light breeds: approx. 10–15% less
- Coldblood/heavy breeds: approx. 20–25% more
