Advantages of partially threaded screw:
- For fully threaded screws, the thread is made of both materials to be connected.
- Therefore, the two materials to be connected cannot be safely connected with very high pressure without pre-drilling or screwing.
- Partially threaded screws do not need to be pre-drilled.
- If you use partially threaded screws to secure floors, for example, there will be no creaking noises.
Advantages of fully threaded screws:
- Fully threaded screws have the advantage that the tensile force acting on the screw is distributed over the entire thread of the upper screw and is not absorbed only by the head.
- When screwing in fully threaded screws, the materials to be connected must be pressed firmly together, e.g. B. with screw terminals and adhesive.
- Another method is to screw the screw until it engages in the flooring material.
- Then loosen the screw slightly.
- The top material should no longer rise
